Bishop McDonald was born in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies. He received his early childhood education in that same parish. He would, however through the divine will of God relocated to St Catherine for his secondary education. It was during these years at Dinthill High school that his call to the Lord’s service first became evident.

Lady McDonald graduated from Kingston Technical high school in 1979 and went to obtain the following academic accomplishments: Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University, Masters of Science in Christian Counseling, and Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy.

The Church of Christ traces its history back to the original organization that was established by Jesus Christ in the first century AD. That original Church had Jesus Christ as its head and twelve Apostles that had the oversight of the Church organization on the earth.
