Our History

February 1993- Current
The Church of Christ traces its rich history back to the original Church established by Jesus Christ in the first century AD. This foundational Church, as outlined in the New Testament, was established by Christ Himself as the head and was guided by the twelve Apostles, whom He appointed to oversee the Church’s mission and spread His teachings. The Apostles were entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing and expanding the early Christian community, laying the groundwork for the global movement that would grow from that moment onward.

The Church’s early structure was one of unity and doctrinal purity, with Christ at the center, guiding the faithful through the Apostles and their teachings. As the Apostles preached the Gospel, baptized believers, and established congregations, they emphasized the importance of sound doctrine, fellowship, prayer, and the breaking of bread in the name of Christ. The early Church was characterized by a strong sense of community and a commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus, fostering a deep sense of purpose and spiritual growth among its members.
