First Lady Ivett McDonald is a great asset and help to her husband. She has a passion for God’s word and a great love for God’s people. She has a big warm smile that lights up an entire room.

Lady McDonald has been married to her husband Bishop Ernest McDonald for 33 years and is the proud mother of two adopted daughters Jaqi and Kimberly and one biological daughter Joanna.

Lady McDonald graduated from Kingston Technical high school in 1979 and went to obtain the following academic accomplishments: Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University, Masters of Science in Christian Counseling, and Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy.

In 1993 she joined her husband in launching the Emmanuel Apostolic Church- Miramar, she is very instrumental in the different ministries here at Emmanuel. She continues to be about God’s people excelling in every area of their lives and with her whole heart supports the mission and vision of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church- Miramar.
